With a modest beginning in the year 1976, SECURITY ASSOCIATION (SINGAPORE) SAS stands BIG, STRONG & FRIENDLY with 150 Corporate, Ordinary and Associate members. SAS is an umbrella association for the security industry.
Security, Safety and Private Investigation practitioners at all levels are cordially invited to be members of SAS. SECURITY ASSOCIATION (SINGAPORE) is managed by a elected Management Committee comprising members of Association.

 Learning from the Security Sector
Mr T Mogan, President of the Security Association of Singapore recalls:
"The regulators started enforcing to ensure that compliances were met. So that way, the compulsory training which the association mooted came into full force. And with the Workforce Development Agency coming into the picture. We came up with mandatory training and brought the level of security to a higher platform and today it's taken shape well."

60% drop in complaints against security firms
Firms that provide security services are pulling up their socks, going by the lower number of complaints made against them.
